Sprintcar Championships 2010, Darwin NT

Welcome to the home of the 2010 Australian Sprintcar Championships.

It has been a long time (1986/1987) since the Northern Territory last hosted this prestigious championship. Sprintcars NT (SNT), in association with Northline Speedway are hosting this prestigious event in 2010 and expectations are high that this event will present a unique Territory style experience to this long standing historical event.

The Sprintcar scene in the NT is going from strength to strength with gradual increases in car numbers in both Darwin and Alice Springs and many top Australian Sprintcar teams are choosing to use Darwin as a benchmark for their teams growing progress & development.

Given the total population of the Northern Territory (200,000), the number of Sprintcars per population ratio is indeed probably the highest in Australia & we want to keep building on this, with the 2010 Australian Championship this will go a long way in helping us develop into one of Australia's greatest speedway locations.

Sprintcars NT and Northline Speedway are working towards a vey unique Championship experience that befits the standing of an Australian Championships and we look forward to you visiting the Northline Speedway venue in the near future.
